New features
Updated email settings & OAuth SMTP authentication
We have updated the email settings to simplify the setup and introduce OAuth SMTP support.
In doing this, several fields were removed including POP settings as well as renaming.
A new emailing subsystem has been added to support OAuth SMTP.
In the Navigator go to Tools and Settings > System Settings > Email
To activate OAuth emailing:
- Enable the new Emailer module
- Select Type OAuth in the SMTP settings
- Complete the OAuth settings
When the Send Test Email will provide a log of the email test and if an error occurs a message to assist you with determining configuration issues.

Please Note: Activating OAuth may require additional settings to be configured in your email system. The Ready Pay support team cannot provide any support for your emailing systems.
Updates
Ready Pay dashboard removal
Due to components used within the Ready Pay HR3 dashboard no longer having security updates available, we have decided to remove the dashboard.
We are looking at providing alternative options in the near future.
Company Selector
The Company selector has been updated to allow for 4 companies at a time to be displayed in the tool bar.
We have also added support for longer company names when using the company selector drop down.
Ordinary time earnings in STP2
We have updated the field that is used to determine if a pay item is included in the STP2 ordinary time earnings, from Include in ‘Ordinary’ Earnings, to automatically calculate based on the Accrue Super tick box.
We are now including ordinary time earnings in all STP2 payloads in preparation for it becoming mandatory for Pay Day Super.
This will save users time updating the Include in ‘Ordinary’ Earnings when using the Pay history calculator.
Fixes
AV errors
Fixed multiple AV errors including when selecting reports. This includes pay run reports and reports explorer – reports batching.
Custom themes and colours
Fixed an issue where custom themes were not applying correctly.
Note: A company level theme will take precedence over an employee-level theme.
Added the ability to remove a company level theme by selecting ‘None’.
STP2 fixes
• Updated STP2 payload so that $0 allowance pay items are not included in submissions to reduce confusion on ATO income summaries.
• Corrected wording on several STP2 reports.
Flare onboarding
• Fixed an issue where the company default superfund USI would not update.
• Fixed an issue where the emergency contact address line 1 was not updating correctly.
Archiving
• Fixed an issue where it was possible to create a new pay item with a code that had been archived.
• Fixed an issue where a pay item could not be archived when it should be able to.
